Marko Zunic

Marko Zunic is a multifaceted professional with significant current leadership roles in diplomacy, law, and international sports administration.

In the sports sector, he is currently an Executive Committee Member (2nd term) of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) since 2019, playing a key role in the governance of Universiades and global student sports. His extensive experience in sports management includes roles such as Secretary General for the European Universities Games 2016 and owner/organizer for IRONMAN 70.3 Slovenia Istria.

Mr. Zunic actively contributes to academia as a Guest Lecturer in Sport Events Management at UDG, Montenegro (since 2020) and previously taught Corporate & Company Law at the University of Zagreb (2018-2022).

His educational background includes an Executive MBA from Cotrugli Business School (2016) and a Master of Law (LL.M.) from the University of Rijeka (2009). A Lawyer and Managing Partner at Law Firm Zunic since 2010, Mr. Zunic specializes in corporate, banking, energy, company, and bankruptcy law.

Since 2023, he has served as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Korea in Croatia, with jurisdiction over Primorje-Gorski Kotar and Istria County.
