Dear colleagues,
I am very happy and honored to announce the IV International Scientific Congress “Applied Sports Sciences", which will be held at the National Sports Academy “Vassil Levski” on November 21- 22, 2025.
This large and prestigious event will attract again experts, practitioners, and young researchers to exchange and share their experiences and research results on various aspects of sports science. The Congress will also create an excellent interdisciplinary environment for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns in the fields of applied sports sciences.
I am confident that the forthcoming edition of the Congress will present many significant results of conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work in all areas of sports science. Thus, it will affirm once again the leadership of the National Sports Academy in the field of sports science and its contributions to the development of sports practice.

Dear researchers,
It is a great pleasure for me to cordially invite you to take part in the IV International Scientific Congress “Applied Sports Sciences”.
I sincerely hope that this forum will succeed in presenting many achievements and providing ample opportunities for open discussion, as well as exchange, interaction and active participation of distinguished experts and young researchers.
The global world is now facing the rapid development of technology and necessity of research persistently increases. This trend is pretty visible in sports. Scientists, researchers and experts have to join efforts and look in one direction in order to find solutions not only based on different approaches, but also very complex ones, considering the most challenging problems and the future prospects. It is unquestionable that the researchers in applied sports sciences have the potential to contribute to this process.
The Congress will cover large range of interesting topics related to training and coaching, sport performance, sports for disabled, sport psychology, technologies in sports, sports medicine, physical education, creativity and innovation in the educational system, integrity of sport and many more.
