Presentation Guidelines
Guidelines for Oral Presentation
Please review the following guidelines to ensure a clear, engaging, and impactful presentation:
Time Limits The time limit for oral presentations will be 10 minutes. Please respect the time allocated for your presentation. Practicing beforehand will help you stay within the limit. Time for Q&A will be set additionally.
Organize Your Content Structure your presentation in three parts:
Introduction: Introduce yourself and provide an outline of your key points.
Main Body: Focus on 2-4 main points, each supported with relevant information or examples.
Conclusion: Summarize key takeaways and end with a memorable closing thought.
Use Visuals Wisely Support your points with visuals (slides, images, graphs) that are clear and concise. Aim to use visuals as enhancements, not distractions.
Our advice is to prepare not more than 10-12 slides to fit in the time limit. The full text will be published, and all the people interested in your research will be able to read it.
Guidelines for Poster Presentation
The poster should be in A0 format (841mm x 1189mm) and oriented in portrait mode. Each author will have a two-minute slot to briefly present their poster during the dedicated poster sessions.
Tips for Creating an Effective Poster:
Make it visually engaging.
Use large text (it should be readable from at least 1 meter away).
Maximize use of space while keeping the layout clean and organized.
Select key results only—focus on findings that highlight the main points of your project.
Convey a clear message. Center the poster around a single, well-defined theme.
Rely on visuals. Use graphs and images to communicate your message, and keep text to a minimum.
Organize content logically with a clear and intuitive flow.
Following these guidelines will help make your poster impactful and easy for viewers to understand.
